Returning to the Master Builder approach, this service combines all of those listed below into a single source, stream lined delivery system in which Design Build South has total project accountability. Architecture

From initial programming and schematic design to design development and construction documents, Design Build South is committed to handsome and functional architecture. We provide a thorough set of computer-generated drawings with Revit 2011 as well as a customized specifications manual for each project. We also utilize Revit 2011 to generate 3D picture quality renderings allowing our clients to better visualize the final design solution..

Master Planning

Through extensive client interviews, Design Build South completes an analysis of our client's spatial, functional and technical needs. The resulting detailed program document includes space allocation and phasing strategies. We want the design solution to be cost effective as well as efficient, therefore, we are extremely careful to plan the initial property development in such a way that allows for future growth and easy expansion of the facilities.

Land Planning

Because landscaping and the hardscape of a building are usually the first thing people notice about a building, Design Build South does not turn those tasks over to a civil engineer. Instead, we invest a significant amount of design time on planting, sidewalks, entries, courtyards and water elements that will then be incorporated by the engineer and landscape architect into the overall design of the site.

Interior Design

Design Build South knows the value of integrating the interior function and exterior forms of a building. Because the interior atmosphere and finishes are what the client sees and feels, it is so important to get it right. We strive to create a harmonious balance between the interior and exterior, so that our buildings will enhance the human experience of its inhabitants.

General Contracting

In addition to the many services listed above, Design Build South also offers standard general contracting services, holding an Alabama General Contractor's License (#239) and an unlimited bidding capacity in all major construction classifications. We approach our work as contractors with the same care and precision we practice in all of our other many service offerings.
